Accessibility

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. This statement describes what we do and where we may fall short.

What we do

• Pages use proper headings, landmarks and lists, so screen reader users can move around quickly, and there is a "Skip to main content" link.
• Everything can be used with a keyboard, and keyboard focus is always visible.
• Text and controls have enough contrast, in both the light and the dark colour scheme your device may use.
• Forms have visible labels, tell you what went wrong in words, and move focus to the first problem.
• Product photos have descriptions, and the cart, menus and messages are announced to screen readers.
• Animation is minimal, and it stops if your device asks for reduced motion.
• Text resizes and the layout adapts down to a small phone screen, without needing to scroll sideways.

How we check

We test pages with automated accessibility tools and by hand with a keyboard. We have not had the site audited by a third party, so there may be problems we have not found.

Known limits

• Stripe's payment page and Google's sign-in and reCAPTCHA components are provided by those companies, and we cannot change them.
• The size chart is a table of measurements; if you would rather have the numbers read out in another way, write to us and we will help you choose a size.
